Probably one of my favorite breakfast spots of all time. Every time I visit here I go out of my way to make sure I am able to come here for breakfast. Amazing pastries, food, and coffee. The selection is a true masterpiece especially if you have allergies. The staff here are always so nice and have great customer service, which makes it an environment worth coming back to. I wish ya’ll were in the Dallas area I would be here every week!

Amazing experience!! Highly recommend the smoked salmon and egg toast(add an extra egg). Great choices if you have food sensitivities and allergies. The middle shelf of pastries is all gluten free. The staff is amazing and attentive.
This place and its workers made my day. I was supposed to meet my best friend to have a mini celebration of my birthday because I don’t really enjoy celebrations. But be could not make it so I was alone. When I requested a birthday candle, the staff found out that it was my birthday and came to me all together to sing a Happy Birthday. It was a long and harsh day but this place made a big difference. They are very nice and have an amazing food so I recommend to try it to everyone! Thank you once again for everything you have done.
Located in a beautiful shopping center with ocean views. Food is nothing to be wowed by. They serve healthy portions. Their coffee drinks however are pretty good. They have friendly staff. You order at the register they then bring the food out to your table. Outside tables are limited.
Thank you Cami for recommending the tomatoe soup it was DELICIOUS 😋!!!!! My husband and I came to this place for 7 days straight while we were on vacation and every single day it was a hit. The entire staff was amazing, the food was the AMAZING, what can I say EVERYTHING is Excellent. Thank you to chef Miguel and the team of cooks. We had the chance to meet the chef Miguel and you could feel his passion for cooking and he was such a genuine person. I would like to say a special thanks to Raven for her excellent service taking our order. Mariano he makes the drinks so fast and so delicious. And Megan was so sweet making sure everything was good for us. And another shout out to Mari and Cami for their impeccable service and kindness. And the last thing I must say is my husband and I both agree they have the best Acai bowls ever no other place beats Parakeet Cafe. We will be coming back soon!
I LOVE Parakeet Cafes! I’ve been to this one and another in San Diego. The decor is darling, and all their merchandise branding is also adorable. Obsessed! I also love all the gluten free options. I love the GF Tuile cookies, and the GF brioche bread is just divine. Kami helped me and she was absolutely lovely! So kind and wonderful to all the customers. She certainly made me feel special!
The café has a beautiful ambiance with plenty of natural light and great outdoor seating. One of the standout features is the unique mosaic parakeet wall art, which adds a special charm to the space. We ordered French toast, a side of potatoes, a salted maple latte, a matcha vanilla drink, and avocado toast. The French toast is not overly sweet—my daughter rated it 3/5, but I personally loved it. It has a subtle sweetness, and the fresh cream served with it was a wonderful addition. The potatoes were excellent—perfectly flavored, not too salty or oily, which I really appreciated. The avocado toast was also very good, topped with nuts and seeds, making it fresh and satisfying. The highlight of the breakfast, however, was the drinks. I absolutely loved the salted maple latte—I never imagined coffee with a hint of salt could taste this good! My daughter really enjoyed her matcha vanilla as well. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more from the menu.
I couldn’t speak more highly of this little brunch spot! Everyone who worked there was so sweet and kind and had just a positive vibe! My croissant breakfast sandwich was the best thing I have ever had! The fresh croissant was the star of the show! I also had their standard iced vanilla latte and it was also yummy! The environment was beautifully decorated and service was excellent! This is a go to spot right across crystal cove you could then go for a beach walk after!
